Place skillet on stove, turning the heat to medium.
Cook bacon to preferred crispness.
Remove bacon from pan and leave only enough bacon grease in the pan to lightly coat the pan.
Spread butter on one side of each slide of bread
Place one slice on the skillet, butter side down.
Place cheese on top of the bread. Then the bacon on top of the cheese
Spread a healthy amount of bbq sauce on the clean side of the remaining slice of bread. Then place the bread, bbq sauce side down, onto the sammich, so the butter of slice 2 is facing upwards.
Let bread cook for a few minutes, until golden brown (3-5 minutes, depending on your stove).
Flip the sandwich and cook for another 2-3 minutes. This side will cook faster, so be mindful.
As an option, you can spread a small amount of butter on each side of the bread once grilled, to add more butter flavor.
